![]() #RIMWORLD PREPARE CAREFULLY EVERYONE WHITE MOD# Preparing carefully ALA Dwarf Fortress or something isn't really required in a game like this really. You don't need to manage moods, supplies other than food and the healing items, and supplies to build things with are found in pretty much every single major / minor town without fail, or can be easily stolen from machines operating in the world if you're crafty enough. Plus skills can be learned extremely quickly in the initial start due to the way XP rate works. #RIMWORLD PREPARE CAREFULLY EVERYONE WHITE PLUS# I have used it in the past to begin games with certain technology from the start so I can get started with things, and sometimes so one of the characters can have like 100 in the crafting skills to avoid having someone making armour and weapons for a month before they become useful, it's handy for that. I hope Kenshi 2 adds more needs, like thirst, morale and temperature stuff. Not being able to consume the hashish, alcohol and even water you find in the world is weird, as is running around in plate armour while barefoot with no water in the scorching desert just fine lol. Then preparing carefully would be a cool thing indeed. Rimworld stole this from dwarf fortress, right? Ensuring everyone has waterskins, dust protection, plenty of alcohol for that one alcoholic in your party etc, always very fun. Sad that DF isn't moddable like Kenshi, you can't even make a siege last indefinitely. playing a fort under siege by unbeatable undead, holed up underground, figuring out a way to get rid of them (involving magma) when bam, after a year or so they're bored and leave, and now I gotta deal with migrants who want beds or whatever. If it was Kenshi I'm sure it would've be easy to edit that scenario.īut let me tell you, Kenshi with its "your nothing" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. maybe your nothing, but with hard work you become unstoppable. Now if you were born a dwarf, then no matter now well-trained and well-equipped you are, you stand little chance against the undead. they feel no pain, and dismember then and the limb animates and starts wresting you, while the one armed guy swings at you. #RIMWORLD PREPARE CAREFULLY EVERYONE WHITE PLUS#Įasy to get an infinite energy engine, then you pump it to the surface and flood the whole outside with it, not even the undead can swim in magma.#RIMWORLD PREPARE CAREFULLY EVERYONE WHITE MOD#.Alpha 16 presets and saved characters should work, but if they do not, you'll need to recreate them. I try to maintain backwards compatibility with previous releases, but it's not always possible. Why don't my saved presets from earlier versions work? Unfortunately, some mods just don't work well together, and you may have to experiment to find a combination that works. Why doesn't the "Prepare Carefully" button appear for me?įirst and foremost, make sure that you've enabled the mod! This will be obvious to experienced mod users, but if you're new to RimWorld mods, you need to go into the Mods menu when you start the game and explicitly enable a mod after you've installed it. If you have other trouble installing the mod, please look for advice in this thread: Double-check that you clicked on the correct download link. If you downloaded from github and got this "target version" error, you may have downloaded the mod's source code instead of the mod itself. The mod contents should be in the "Mods/EdBPrepareCarefully" directory, NOT in a "Mods/EdBPrepareCarefully/EdBPrepareCarefully" directory. If you get that error, make sure that you have not ended up with an extra directory inside your mod folder. The most common problem that people run into is that they double-extract the mod folder from the zip file. I installed the mod, but I get a message that says that the mod "has incorrectly formatted target version 'Unknown'". Once you enable the mod, start a game normally, but click the "Prepare Carefully" button to get started: Prepare Carefully 1.0.13 for RimWorld 1.0 (Github)Įxtract the contents of the zip file into your mods folder. It consists of mostly bug-fixes and mod compatibility fixes. Version 1.0.13 is the latest release of the mod for RimWorld 1.0. Save your setup as a preset so that you can start your game the same way later. Customize your RimWorld colonists, choose your gear and prepare carefully for your crash landing.
